Right, since this is the last entry before the friends only entry, this is an appropriate place for the results of "pumping people for identity".

My basic traits have been with my all my life, but after a year of high school, I related to people differently, and let's face it, there were ups and downs to this. My view there is that I was far too open and open to interpretation; I shouldn't have to justify things that weren't my fault, and the things that were my fault are unjustifiable. So I didn't have anymore shit in college, I became more private, and instead of getting upset about things, I either fight to change/correct them, or laugh/shrug it off when I realise it's not worth it; simple.

I would say I've changed since high school, except it's more the case that I've changed since my big talk with Kate, who explained knowing the difference between what you need and what you don't, and taught me (whether she realises it or not):
- the importance of self-conviction
- that what others think about you doesn't matter until you let it
- that if something doesn't make you happy, then get rid of it

They were important lessons at a crucial time, too.

I'm a fire sign, yeah, and I am about as Aries as you can get, (without the physical exertion part) and I could never view myself as any other element. HOWEVER, for the most part, I completely agree with the above.

When I went on the plane, or the Space Probe, or anything else that placed my in the clouds, as it were, I felt fucking amazing. Like, so elated, it was the best. But the best feeling I've ever felt is when I'm out on a boat. It's the most freeing, beautiful thing to watch your troubles disappear over the endless horizon.

See, I see myself as fire in every aspect; Aries, Satan, etc. But it's like, all this burning flame that makes up who I am, it casts a shadow out behnid me, made up of all that distance and unknown factors. And it's this shadow that becomes that moonlight ocean, full of beauty and secrets that I don't share, either because I choose not to, or others choose not to see it. I dunno.
